Dr. Ryan Lazarus, MS, CNS, DC

Dr. Ryan Lazarus has a degree in Kinesiology and completed his Chiropractic training from Palmer West. He holds many post-graduate certifications in rehabilitation modalities and nutrition. As a Certified Nutrition Specialist™ and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner™, with a Masters in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine™, Dr. Lazarus implements functional medicine protocols with every patient. Functional medicine practitioners focus on the fundamental underlying factors that cause every patient’s symptoms and conditions.

Dr. Lazarus is an adjunct faculty for a Masters in Nutrition program and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. He also consults with nutraceutical companies regarding specific condition formulations. He receives frequent requests to present and lecture about Functional Medicine around the Napa Valley, SF Bay Area and nationwide.

He is creating tremendous momentum in the Napa Valley as a health and wellness educator, motivator and healer. He has changed countless people’s lives through his unique approach and currently speaks to the general public, patients and medical professionals regarding his methodology.

Dr. Matt Murphy D.C.

Dr. Matt Murphy graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. After graduation Dr. Matt decided it was time for a change and embarked on a cross country trip with his dog Zoey and moved to California. Since arriving in 2012, he has been the Lead Practitioner at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy in Napa and has experience working with the California Workers Compensation System. Dr. Matt utilizes a combination of chiropractic techniques including diversified, drop table, and flexion/distraction, as well as Graston, myofascial release techniques, physiotherapy, and nutritional counseling. In his spare time, Dr. Matt enjoys the outdoors, sports, and helping coach the Napa High Boys Basketball team.

JC Carter, Muscle Therapist

JC Carter , LMT, graduated from Utah Valley University in 2001 with a degree in Behavioral Science. Shortly after that, JC decided to look deeper into the mind-body connection, and attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy, where she focused on Sports Massage Therapy and discovered Structural Integration. After moving to California, JC broadened her view of the body in motion by becoming certified as a Crossfit Level 1 Coach and a Certified Facial Movement Taping practitioner (FMT I&II). JC’s gentle but firm touch, and genuine desire to help her clients free their bodies from pain and restriction of movement continues to be a recipe for success for her clients. Specializing in Structural Integration, JC also utilizes principles from Russian Sports Massage, Neurokinetic Therapy techniques, Kinesio Taping, and testing from a Functional Movement perspective.

Monica Lesslie, Holistic Physical Therapist

Monica offers her wisdom, training and healing through Holistic Physical Therapy, Traditional Yoga, Entrainment Yoga, Ayurvedic Counseling, and much more. In addition to physical therpy services, Monica also provides therapeutic energy therapies including Reiki and Healing Touch. From being the first Doctor of Physical Therapy to volunteer her services at the Kwa Mkono Polio Hostel in Tanzania, to trekking through the Himalayan Mtns for a month, volunteering with children in Antigua, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, teaching Yoga in South Africa, experiencing and studying Ayurvedic Medicine at its roots in India, living in England and New Zealand, studying Yoga in Bali, and summiting MT. Kilimanjaro – there is no denying that Monica strives on growth found outside of her comfort zone.
