Spinal Therapy & Rehab FAQ’s
We will conduct a thorough examination to find the root of the problem. We will report our findings and explain how we will effectively address it in the fastest time possible. We utilize gentle spinal and joint adjustments, muscle therapy, various physiotherapy modalities including kinesiotape, intersegmental traction table and electrical muscle stimulation. We will prescribe home instructions to facilitate the healing.
The first appointment includes an examination and treatment and typically takes 30-45 minutes. Subsequent treatments take approximately 15-20 minutes.
We do not take X-rays on every patient. If your conditions or symptoms require more investigation, we will refer you for them. If you have current X-Rays or MRI reports, please feel free to bring them to your first visit so we may review them.
Treatment length varies with each individual case. Generally, care falls into three groups: Acute, Supportive, and Wellness care. Acute care involves determining the present problem when pain is severe and determining a plan of action and treatment that best serves your individual case. Supportive care is for individuals whose condition is chronic in nature and requires regular care to maintain a level of health. Wellness care is for patients who find that our care enables them to function at their finest and may prevent minor problems from evolving into greater, more time-consuming complications. No matter what form of care you are looking for, our Doctors will provide you with excellent care to return you to the level of health and function that you are capable of achieving. Our mission is to evaluate and treat your issues in timely manner so you can return to your activities of daily living as soon as possible.
